WHAT IS HIVE AIR THERAPY
Hive air therapy is a form of apitherapy that focuses on the natural environment of the beehive. Warm, aromatic air from active hives is drawn through screened, enclosed channels into a separate guest space. The experience centers on warmth, aroma, sound, and atmosphere.
ARE THERE BEES IN THE ROOM
In some cabins, the hives sit directly beneath the bench or bed. The guest area is fully enclosed and separated by engineered screens, so you can experience the natural warmth and sound of the hive without any contact with the bees.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR
Wear whatever is comfortable. If you want more direct skin exposure to the warm hive environment, lighter clothing is fine — shorts, tanks, or sports bras. Standard coverage is required; no nudity.
FRAGRANCES
Bees have an exceptionally strong sense of smell — significantly stronger than humans and even stronger than dogs. Perfumes, colognes, scented lotions, smoke residue, and essential oils can disrupt the hive environment. Please arrive fragrance free.
SESSION LENGTH
Sessions are available in 45 minute or 90 minute formats.
IS THIS A MEDICAL SERVICE
No. This is a non‑medical wellness experience and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.
IS IT SAFE
Guests remain in a sealed, separate space with no bee contact. The airflow system uses screened, enclosed channels designed to keep the guest area isolated from the hives.
WHAT IF I HAVE ALLERGIES
Guests with severe allergies — including bee‑related allergies — should consult their healthcare provider before booking. Our team is trained and certified in the safe storage and use of an EpiPen for emergency situations, but this does not replace medical care or personal preparedness.
CAN I BRING MY DOG
Yes. Dogs may attend with a paying adult and must be booked into an Open Air Hive Room. There is a $25 add‑on per dog, and multiple dogs are welcome as long as they remain calm and supervised. Dogs must be added at the time of booking so our team can prepare the space and secure the front desk area before you arrive. If your dog needs frequent visits, reach out to us. We offer a reduced‑rate plan for high‑frequency bookings.
CAN CHILDREN ATTEND
Yes. Children under 13 may attend with a paying adult and must be booked into an Open Air Hive Room. There is a $25 add‑on per child. Children must remain supervised at all times.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN JOIN A SESSION
Masked Cabins: 1 adult
Open Air Hive Rooms: Up to 6 guests (adults, supervised children, and dogs)
WHAT SHOULD I BRING
Just yourself and water if you’d like it. No special equipment is required.
FOOD AND DRINK
No food or scented beverages. Bees detect scent at extremely high sensitivity, and strong smells can disrupt the hive environment. Water is fine.
DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE
Yes. All sessions are by appointment only.
WHAT IF I’M RUNNING LATE
Sessions end at the scheduled time to respect the next guest’s appointment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance receive a full refund or credit, depending on your booking type.
